Description:
PSB Biofertilizer is a liquid formulation of phosphorous solubilizing Bacillus spp. bacteria (PSB). These bacteria are capable of solubilizing inorganic Phosphorous from insoluble compounds and mineralizing the organic phosphorous from organic matter and providing it for plant uptake.
Benefits:
The principal mechanism in soil for solubilisation of P is lowering of soil pH by microbial production of organic acids or the release of protons and mineralization by producing acid phosphatases ultimately resulting in P availability in soil.It can supplement more than 25% fertilizers requirement by the crop. Also, this is cost effective compared to chemical fertilizer.
It helps to improve soil fertility and productivity.
It helps to accelerate phytohormone activity, mineralization, and mobilisation of other nutrients in soil.
